Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Closing

There has been a lot of speculation swirling around for Disney's Rock 'n' Roller Coaster over at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The attraction has undergone lengthy refurbishments a few times, leading many fans to wonder if a possible re-theme would be announced.

Disney indicated that there is still plenty of time to enjoy the attraction as it is now before the re-theming takes place in 2026.
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Pre-Show Blocked

Although Disney did not provide an exact closing date, we expect this may be in early 2026. The new Muppet re-theme is also expect to open on 2026.
Disney is not known for completing projects in a speedy pace. Many questioned how a complete re-theme could take place for this attraction within the same calendar year.
We may have an answer as the entire pre-show area of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is now blocked off to guests.
Reason for this Closure

As guests file through the pre-show room, the large glass windows are now covered with G-Force Records screens. It appears that work is already taking place for the new Muppet themed pre-show.
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster pre-show is now blocked off to guests.
Disney describes this new pre-show as, "With your VIP passes, you'll be welcomed inside the recording studio, where - wouldn't you know it - you'll find the Electric Mayhem are cranking out some seriously rocking tunes. "
"Along with the finest audio engineers (all penguins, of course) we'll see Scooter doing his best to convince Electric Mayhem to stop jamming and get to their increasingly restless fans." You can news for this new re-theme HERE.
