Here at Kenny the Pirate, we love meeting rare characters. Rare characters tend to be seen during events like runDisney race weekends, Disney Vacation Club Moonlight Magic, Easter, Valentine's Day, and Earth Day to name a few.

Princess Half Marathon Weekend
The 2026 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend took place February 26th through March 2nd. This weekend includes a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Challenge (10K and Half Marathon), and yoga.
Themes for the 2026 celebrate princesses on their unique journeys. Princesses will include Merida, Moana, Rapunzel, and Belle.
Rare Characters!
This past weekend at the Princess Half Marathon Weekend, athletes were treated some amazing character meets that included rare characters or some of our favorites in rare costumes!
5K characters included:

- Snow White and her prince

Princess Half Marathon Weekend athletes were treated to lots of fun characters during the weekend's events!
The Half Marathon had 41 characters that included Gypsy from Bug's Life and Mother Gothel from Tangled! The fairy godmother's from Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique were even sprinkling athletes with pixie dust before the finish!

Glad to hear Fancy Nancy was at the 10k run, First Doc mcstuffins was in the last marathon back in January, and now Fancy Nancy was in this marathon. Good to hear these characters were never forgotten. I hope Vampirina make a comeback for the Halloween party this year.
That would be a great place to see Vampirina! I do love seeing these Disney Junior characters too.
