New Alice in Wonderland Tea Party Comes to the Grand Floridian

Grand Floridian New Offerings

The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is Disney's flagship resort. It is also one of the nicest and most elegant resorts on the property.

The Grand Floridian lobby is going through a major refurbishment.  One of the most notable changes is the addition of a new lounge, The Perch.

Last November,  Disney shared that the Garden View Lounge would reopen in early 2026! This location will reopen (after a five-year closure) with a refreshed look that complements the lobby's new design!

Garden View Lounge Reopening

Today, we have full details for the reopening of the Garden View Lounge at Disney's Grand Floridian. Disney has partnered with Twinings to hand-select premium tea blends that offer something for everyone.

The best part is that Cast Members will help you select your tea, choose an aromatic designed to accompany the tea which is added during the steeping process, and feel free to add some extra sweetness. 

Guests can also enjoy signature tea-based cocktails:

• Mint Tulip featuring Old Forester 1870 Original Batch Kentucky Straight Whiskey, Twinings Refreshers Peach Mango Tea Instant Beverage, and mint
• Mar-TEA-ni with Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin, Twinings Earl Grey Tea, lemon, and honey.

There will also be two non-alcoholic specialty teas:

• Curiosi-TEA with Twinings Refreshers Strawberry Raspberry Herbal Tea Instant Beverage with a touch of shimmering magic
• This Way, That Way with Twinings Refreshers Peach Mango Tea Herbal Tea Instant Beverage and mint

Afternoon Tea

Your afternoon tea begins with an Orange-Cranberry Scone with traditional accoutrements. This is followed by the following savory selections:

• Curried Chicken Salad Playing Card Tart: Savory curried chicken salad filling topped with cherry gelée
• Footman's Feast: Wonderland Salmon Crisp with a salmon rillette on a miso brown butter crisp
• Tweedledee Egg Salad Sandwich: A traditional egg salad on beet bread
• Caterpillar Cucumber Roll: A delicious combination with butterfly pea-infused cream cheese and cucumbers on pumpernickel

Guests can also choose a sweet selection:

• The Matcha Mad Hatter: Sponge cake with apricot jam and yuzu buttercream
• Tea Party Tart: Vanilla tart, coffee custard, and chantilly cream
• Flamingo Croquet Choux filled with passion fruit cream and a raspberry crunch
• Painting the Rose: Earl Grey-flavored teacake painted tableside

Garden View Lounge- Tea Experience reopens on March 19, 2026.

"The Children's Afternoon Tea features adorably delicious bites, including savory minis like the Queen of Hearts Cheese Toastie, a Fanciful Turkey Wrap, and a Sunflower Seed Butter and Jelly Bun. For dessert, we have the Cheshire Cat Raspberry Macaron, the Chocolate Brownie Branch, and don't be late for the vanilla White Rabbit Cupcake."

The Garden View Lounge reopens at the Grand Floridian on March 19, 2026. Guests can begin making Advanced Dining Reservations on February 19, 2026.

Updated to add: The price for Afternoon Tea will be $79 per adult and $49 per child (ages 3-9), plus tax and gratuity.
