Disney Enforces New Policy for Pins at EPCOT
If you are planning to head to EPCOT for Pin Tuesday, you will need to know about some procedural updates. Here is what to know before you go!
Pintastic Tuesday

Pintastic Tuesday is a phenomenon that began not too long ago at Disney Parks and Disney Store (both retail locations and online) in the pin trading world. It is a day when collectors can attempt to acquire limited edition Disney Pins!
Sometimes Disney announces which pins will be dropping on specific Tuesdays throughout the year by releasing flyers with illustrations and dates, and other details. Other times, the pin drops are a bit of a surprise! Likewise, some of the pins are online exclusives, and some are only released in either Walt Disney World or Disneyland.
I cannot emphasize this enough. If you want to set up your best chance for scoring Pin Drop Tuesday Limited Edition pins at Walt Disney World, you must have a strategy. HERE is our full guide. But there have been some updates.
New Procedures for Pins at EPCOT

On Pintastic Tuesday on March 3, guests planning to try to score pins at EPCOT were met with a new procedure. At the main gate, there were designated areas with signs for people to line up for pins!
People formed a queue for pins, and and they received numbered arm bands as they filed in. Those armbands represented their number in line. It has been reported that guests with Early Entry were prioritized for arm bands.
A similar procedure is in place at Disney Springs to keep things more organized and less chaotic. After all, there will be much less running and poor behavior on the way to the shop if your number is already assigned!
Will This Procedure Stick Around

Perhaps Disney was testing this policy, knowing that the pin drop for EPCOT on March 10, 2026, will be extra popular. This is because EPCOT is the only park that will have Limited Edition Artist Collection pins dropping that day. Certainly, they will want the day to run smoothly.
Disney will likely continue to adapt pin policies as the need arises.
The policy might stick around if tomorrow goes well. But the policy could also continue to shift. Disney will likely continue to adapt, keeping Guest safety in mind. So, go in knowing what to expect, be prepared to pivot just in case!
