Good News and Bad News for EPCOT's Food and Wine Festival 2026

As EPCOT's Food and Wine Festival prepares to welcome Guests, we have both good and bad news for the festival's start.

It's time to eat and drink around the World! Teams of Disney chefs and mixologists have been testing, tasting, and collaborating to create a variety of culinary delights.

The highlight of the festival is, of course, the new concepts and menu items at Global Marketplaces located throughout EPCOT. We love seeing how Disney incorporates new dishes and drinks with returning favorites.

But, the festival isn't just eating and drinking! There are so many other neat experiences to indulge in.

This year, EPCOT's 2026 Food and Wine Festival runs from August 27th through November 21, 2026.

When CommuniCore Hall first opened, we were disappointed, but Disney reassured us that this space would be transformed for EPCOT's many festivals. The first festival, the International Food and Wine Festival, only offered a shopping location.

In recent years, special displays have been added to the CommuniCore Hall. This summer, Disney Guests could dance along with Goofy as part of Cool KIDS' SUMMER.

The good news is that a new interactive experience, Cheers to Cheese!, comes to CommuniCore Hall for the International Food and Wine Festival. Beginning September 18th through November 8th, guests will explore the history of cheese in an interactive exhibit jam-packed with fun facts.

Cheers to Cheese! interactive exhibit at CommuniCore Hall is available from September 18 to November 8, 2026.

Unfortunately, the bad news is that this will not open at the start of the International Food and Wine Festival. The CommuniCore Hall will continue to be used for Cool KIDS' SUMMER until September 8, 2026.
