There are many refurbishments and expansion projects throughout all four Walt Disney World theme parks. One expansion that Disney did not announce was the addition of dining locations at the parks.

Earlier this week, Disney revealed an opening timeline for its newest themed bar, The Perch, at Disney's iconic Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

The Perch is now open

The Perch will officially open on November 10, 2025, but guests visiting Disney's Grand Floridian share that The Perch is now open.

The Perch has a "soft opening" today, November 8, 2025.

Disney has offered a "soft opening" several times recently for the Disney Starlight Parade, TestTrack, Spaceship Earth, AstroFizz, "Zootopia Better Zoogether", and now for The Perch.

Just as a reminder, you will not need a reservation to enjoy a visit to The Perch at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The Perch will offer a walk-up service available on a first-come, first-served basis.
