Hollywood Studios Construction That We Are Actually Excited About

Construction walls are less than ideal, but we are actually really excited for what these construction walls may mean for Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Disney's Hollywood Studios is a favorite Park for many guests, offering big thrills, exciting adventures to a galaxy far, far away, and time to play around in "Andy's Backyard" at Toy Story Land.

Recently, "Andy's Backyard" has been abuzz with construction walls at several locations. The first was more like construction shrubbery at Woody's Lunchbox as work was completed to provide more covered seating.

Secondly, Disney filed a permit for "General Construction" at the address of Toy Story Mania. Although unfortunate to take place during summer vacations, operating hours appear as normal for this attraction.

There are now new construction walls in Toy Story Land near the Toy Story restrooms, and as the land transitions into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. The interesting thing about these construction walls is that they are brightly colored to go along with the theming of Toy Story Land and feature fun Toy Story quotes.

Typically, for a quick refurbishment, rolling planters or scrim will be covered with scrim. The sturdy construction walls have us curious if something fun may be coming.

We heard rumors from Disney pals that a snack stand may be coming to this location. Although Disney has not confirmed this, it would make sense for the sturdy construction walls. The other "less fun" option could be simply repainting the Toy Story Land sign that is featured atop Tinker Toys (currently this sign is missing).

Thankfully, the construction walls are fairly compact. They run along the current walkway from the restrooms. This is great news, as this area gets congested very easily.

It would be great to have another food service option in this land. Fingers crossed that these construction walls mean a new addition rather than simply a sign refurbishment.
