Animal Kingdom Guests Just Got the Best Surprise Ever
Disney Parks are magical, but today, Disney's Animal Kingdom guests received an extra dose of magic. Check out this fun surprise!
Surprises at Animal Kingdom
Disney's Animal Kingdom first surprised guests this week with a great new character interaction. Back in October, we shared that the Wilderness Explorers Clubhouse closed with construction walls surrounding it.
Guests can still meet Dug and Russell; they are a bit harder to find. Replacing them is Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps in their Zootopia 2 costumes.
Originally, this fearsome duo was set to debut on November 7th when "Zootopia Better Zoogether" officially opens. Guests were excited to meet them both yesterday and today.
Zootopia Better Zoogether Opens Early
For the past several days, Walt Disney World Cast Members, DVC Members, and Walt Disney World Annual Passholders have enjoyed a special preview of the new "Zootopia Better Zoogether" show.
This afternoon at 4:55 pm, all guests were able to join the standby queue to enjoy this new show. This is such a fun surprise for these lucky guests.
Disney has offered a "soft opening" several times recently for the Disney Starlight Parade, TestTrack, and Spaceship Earth.
Lightning Lane New Attraction
Just as a reminder, "Zootopia Better Zoogether" is now added to the list of Lightning Lane attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Guests can make this selection when the attraction opens on November 7, 2025.
