Animal Kingdom Changes
Disney's Animal Kingdom was the last Theme Park completed at Walt Disney World. It has changed quite a bit over the years, but this year the park is experiencing big changes.
Currently, DinoLand USA is closing in phases, with the entire land closing in February 2026. Another change for Disney's Animal Kingdom is the new "Zootopia Better Zoogether" show.
It will officially open on November 7, 2025, at the former "It's Tough To Be a Bug" theater inside the Tree of Life.
Zootopia Hidden Easter Egg
Previews are now taking place at "Zootopia Better Zoogether," and we are loving the great details located in the queue for this attraction.
In true Disney Imagineer fashion, there are several hidden Easter eggs, and one in particular caught our eye. Pictured above is a poster with the caption "Our ancestors joined together in harmony and declared that, 'Anyone Can Be Anything!'"
If you look very closely in the upper right, you can see a tiny rodent that has a striking resemblance to Disney Imagineer Joe Rohde.

When ground broke for Walt Disney World's 4th theme park, Animal Kingdom, Joe Rohde led a team that conceptualized, designed, and built Animal Kingdom. He has also served as a model designer at EPCOT, worked on Disney's Aulani resort, and he then later led the development in the most beautiful land of Pandora.

Joe Rohde is one of the most easily recognizable Imagineers in the Disney Parks with his characteristic mustache and large earrings. It is touching to see this small tribute at this new attraction to the man who helped create the beauty of Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Good catch on finding Joe Rohde in the poster. I was at the new Zootopia premier on Monday November 3 2025 and took pictures of every poster they had on the wall and there is Joe Rohde in full gear.
Zootopia was a very good addition to Animal Kingdom but it was rather short in length.
