There are many refurbishments and expansion projects throughout all four Walt Disney World theme parks. One expansion that Disney did not announce was the addition of dining locations at the parks.

For example, in July, we shared that new construction walls were in place in Toy Story Land near the Toy Story restrooms, and as the land transitions into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

Last week, a large kiosk could now be seen looming behind the construction walls. It appears to be a traditional-style popcorn container lying on its side. See full details of this stand HERE.

The second new dining location has now been announced for Magic Kingdom. Back in May, we noticed construction walls surrounding the Cool Ship quick service kiosk in Tomorrowland. Soon after, the Cool Ship building was completely missing.

The Cool Ship closure was unexpected and definitely changed the look of Tomorrowland. According to the Walt Disney World website, Cool Ship "is expected to reopen later this year."

A completely revamped kiosk is now in place in Tomorrowland and will reopen under a new name and with a new menu.

Disney shares, "Prepare for snack liftoff in 3...2...1 AstroFizz is coming to Magic Kingdom." This new snack stand, sponsored by Coca-Cola, will offer three delicious frozen slushies: Coca-Cola, Blue Raspberry, and Orange.

Along with popcorn, AstroFizz will also offer a Cherry Cola Churro rolled in cherry sugar, drizzed with Coca-Cola Cherry icing, and topped with cherry popping candies.

An opening date has not yet been announced, but AstroFizz has been officially added to both the My Disney Experience app and the Walt Disney World website.
