Who Will Be Disney's Next Chairman of Disney Experience?

It has been reported that Disney is close to naming its next Chairman of Disney Experience. See who is in the top spot!

Josh D'Amaro has been named the next CEO for The Walt Disney Company. Dana Walden, who was also in contention for becoming Disney's next CEO, was named President and Chief Creative Officer of The Walt Disney Company. D'Amaro and Walden will move into their new roles effective on March 18th.

Who Is In The Top Spot?

It has been reported that Disney is close to naming the next Chairman of Disney Experience. This announcement could come as early as this week!

Thomas Mazloum has been reported as being in the top spot to be named the next Chairman of Disney Experience.

In a Bloomberg report, people who are close to the matter (and wish to remain anonymous) shared with Bloomberg that Thomas Mazloum is in the top spot to be named the next Chairman of Disney Experience.

It is important to note that if Mazloum gets this role, Disneyland will have three different presidents in less than two years! The resort is also undergoing a large expansion project.

Who is Thomas Mazloum?

Thomas Mazloum is the current President of Disneyland Resort. He is responsible for 36,000 Cast Members and all parts of Disneyland. This includes Disneyland and Disneyland California Adventure, three resort hotels, and the Downtown Disney District.

Mazloum was born in Austria. He began working for Disney in 1998 as a hotel director for Disney Cruise Line. He then became the General Manager of Food & Beverage and Special Events at EPCOT. During his time away from Disney, he was the chief Operating Officer for Crystal Cruise Line.

He then returned to Disney in 2017 as the Senior Vice President of Resort and Transportation at Disney World Resort. In this role he oversaw 31 Disney resort hotels, Disney Springs, ESPN Wide World of Sports and transportation operations.

In 2020 he became the President of Disney Signature Experiences which he oversaw Disney Vacation Club, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, Golden Oak, and Aulani to name a few. He then became the President of Disneyland Resort in March of 2025.
