Universal Makes Operational Changes Due to Weather
Universal Orlando has made operational changes to one of its parks. Find out if this change will impact your day.
Cold Front

A cold front has moved into Central Florida. This is brought a low of 45 degrees.
The expected high for Friday, November 28th 63 degrees. This is 15 degrees below normal.
The wind chill could make it feel even colder. Be prepared for this cool down with layers, hats, and gloves.
Operational Changes

Universal Orlando has closed Universal Volcano Bay today, Friday, November 28th. This closure is due to inclement weather.
Universal Volcano Bay is closed today because of inclement weather.
Universal recommends staying current with park updates by calling 407-817-8317 or checking Universal Orlando's social channels.
Disney World has also closed Typhoon Lagoon today (Blizzard Beach is currently closed for refurbishment).

Volcano Bay has several upcoming closures planned for this year. See the scheduled closures:

It is important to check Volcano Bay and other water park's hours of operation during the winter months. If cold weather is expected, water parks will close if needed.

We recommend checking Volcano Bay's and other water park's hours before venturing to the park, especially during the winter. It is not uncommon for water parks to close due to cold/inclement weather as we head into the colder months
