Toy Story Land Looks Different Today at Hollywood Studios
We love playing in Andy's backyard, but this space has needed some changes since it opened in 2018. Disney has been pretty quiet about this, but we now have an update on an exciting new addition.
Toy Story Land

Toy Story Land is immersive, and you really do feel as though you have shrunk down to the size of a toy as you venture around. However, this space offers a few less-than-ideal conditions.
The biggest concern for many Guests is how congested this space becomes, particularly during the day. Secondly, this land offers little shade for guests, with only a few umbrellas offered in outdoor queues.
Finally, the seating at Woody's Lunchbox. Please don't get me (Donna) wrong. I love the totchos at Woody's Lunchbox so much, but it is pretty stressful to find seating to enjoy your meal or lunchbox tart at this quick-service dining location
Toy Story Dining

Dining in Toy Story Land is a bit troubling for Guests. To address the seating concerns at Woody's Lunchbox, construction work took place for several years to add additional seating. Although more tables were added, this space was still crowded with many guests unable to find seating.
In 2023, Roundup Rodeo BBQ opened at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Many guests hoped that this table service dining location would help to spread out guests visiting Toy Story Land. Unfortunately, this dining location was not well-received by many.
Still, even with these two changes, dining continues to be a problem at Toy Story Land. This may have led to the new construction permit filed for Toy Story Land.
New Toy Story Snack Stand

In July, we shared that new construction walls were in place in Toy Story Land near the Toy Story restrooms, and as the land transitions into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
A new snack stand is taking shape at Toy Story Land.
Today, a large kiosk can now be seen looming behind the construction walls. It appears to be a traditional-style popcorn container lying on its side. This leads us to wonder if this small snack stand will offer popcorn, beverages, and possibly some other quick-service snacks for guests.
An opening timeline has not been provided for this snack stand. We will continue to share updates on this new addition to Toy Story Land.
What other treats do you hope will be offered at this snack stand? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.

What's pictured behind the wall is not a popcorn box. It is a cereal box. The ones in the background look like they will also be themed.Cereal boxes. i don't know if that gives anybody any more insight as to what they're putting there.
Thanks for the clarification
What does a new snack shop have to do with a need for more seating at Woody's lunch box ? The entire land is like standing on the Sun so coverd areas with fans , misting machines ,
and more seating for dining should be added before adding a popcorn stand. Galaxy's Edge is without any shade yet they keep those tiny umbrellas next to the blocks of metal to sit on which is bizarre. What were they thinking? Both Toy story land and GE are miserable
to be in during the day.
It is a mystery why more planning was not done to help with the sun and seating. We hope that the new snack stand may help spread out the crowds a little, but you are right that more should be done to help with the seating and shade problems.
