Special Disney Parks Overlays
One thing that is really cool about the Disney Parks is they are constantly refreshing. With the addition of many new film franchises, the Walt Disney Company no has a far reach in the entertainment industry.
The most anticipated is that the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will soon have a brand new mission. The new mission will feature the Mandalorian and Grogu when the new film is released in 2026.
Disney also offers new film sneak peeks and costumes on display at Walt Disney Presents at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
New TRON Overlay at Magic Kingdom
In preparation for the upcoming TRON Ares film, TRON just received a brand new ride overlay. Since first officially opening on April 4, 2023 at the Magic Kingdom, TRON is an incredibly popular attraction.
The coaster is turning RED, and it will be pulsing with all new red and orange lighting effects. This will replace the blue and orange effects.
Not only that, but there will be a brand new ride soundtrack. It will feature the industrial music of Nine Inch Nails from the film's soundtrack. We now have our first look at this new overlay:
Tips for Riding TRON
Guests can either wait in the traditional standby line or purchase the Lightning Lane Single Pass for this attraction. The price for this varies depending on the date, but typically costs between $20 and $22.
