New Droids at Galaxy’s Edge

Last year, Disneyland received two great character interactions. For Season of the Force 2024, Sabine Wren and Walt Disney Imagineering’s BDX droids appeared in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland.
Disney confirmed that the BD-X Droids will come to Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris, and Tokyo Disney Resort later this year. An arrival date is not yet set.
Imagineers knew new upgrades were needed before introducing the BDX droids to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World. Check out these new upgrades HERE.
New Star Wars Locations

Earlier, Disney teased that the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will soon have a brand new mission. The new mission will feature the Mandalorian and Grogu.
Hondo Ohnaka has gotten wind of a deal going down on Tatooine between ex-Imperial officers and a band of pirates. There’s a generous bounty for their capture, so you’ll borrow the iconic ship and team up with Mando and Grogu to track them down and explore the galaxy.
This new mission will now explore a brand new location! After departing from Batuu and visiting Tatooine, the flight crew can choose to visit Bespin, Endor, or Coruscant.
New Scenes Arrive at Smugglers Run

The Engineer role on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will soon have the most important job in the galaxy — interacting with and caring for Grogu.
New missions will arrive on May 22, 2026.
This new mission will debut May 22, 2026, the same day that the “Mandalorian and Grogu release in theaters. This will be a great new addition to this attraction.
