ATTENTION USERS: It's D23 weekend, and earlier, Disney dropped an update for TRON Lightcycle / Run. This update impacts both the original attraction at Shanghai Disneyland and the Walt Disney World version in the Magic Kingdom.

You can read the original story HERE. A TRON: Ares overlay is coming to the attraction.

The overlay will begin on September 15 for Disney World. And, we have a first look at it with pictures, including what the photopass will look like.

TRON is getting an industrial new soundtrack featuring Nine Inch Nails. And, it is getting a whole new look, too!

The overlay will switch up TRON's familiar blue glow. It will turn the attraction red with pulsating, glowing lights to propel the coaster as it follows orange trails of light.

This also means an update for the PhotoPass. If you have Memory Maker or Genie+, this is what you are in for.

The new photopass captures the red TRON: Ares overlay. It will be a perfect way to commemorate entering the grid during this limited-time-only experience.

There is no end date for the overlay and PhotoPass yet. But, rest assured, we will update you when there is!
