Park Reservation Change

This change for Park Reservations for Annual Passholders was a very unpopular and somewhat confusing hurdle for many guests. When first announced, there was no timeframe for how long this may last.
Starting today, July 28, 2025, the wording is now changed to the former policy for Theme Park Reservations for Annual Passholders.
The policy now simply states "To enter a theme park, each Passholder must have valid admission-and may need a theme park reservation, depending on the date of visit." The rule is still in place: "Annual Passholders may visit the theme parks after 2:00 PM without a theme park reservation, except on Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom Park.
What you need to know

Theme park reservations are no longer required for date-based tickets. For other admission types, theme park reservations may be required. Theme park reservations are limited and subject to availability. Act quickly to secure your Magic Kingdom park reservation!
Park Reservation change is now lifted for Magic Kingdom except for Saturday and Sunday
For Annual Passholders hoping to enjoy the new Disney Starlight nighttime parade, you will still need a Magic Kingdom Park Reservation if visiting on Saturday or Sunday.
