This summer at Walt Disney World will be AMAZING, and we have a sneak peek of the great characters and activities that you can enjoy throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.
Cool Kid Summer EPCOT
Disney finally listened to us and is bringing us the Disney magic that we’ve been missing out on for the past five years. Beginning May 27 through September 1, 2025, Disney will host “Cool Kid Summer” with summer limited-time activities throughout Walt Disney World.
There are brand new maps available at each Theme Park designed to help you enjoy each activity, including a fun scavenger hunt.
Over at Epcot, Goofy will take over Communicore Hall to bring the ultimate game party and play space. With fun games such as limbo, working together with an extra-large parachute, and fun dance parties, this gives us camp vibes with a Goofy twist.
This space has been transformed from floor to ceiling for Goofy’s Ultimate Summer Party. Guests can enjoy cool air conditioning and great activities, which sounds like a perfect combination. Also, Phineas & Ferb will begin meeting Guests on June 1st.
Hollywood Studios
At Animated Courtyard, located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, enjoy fun performances from “CJ McSundae” ice cream-themed magician act, the “Jumping Beans,” jump rope performers, and this space is hosted by “Annie Mater” (a fun play on “Animator”) to bring all guests into the fun.
The Get Animated space allows guests to dance with fun characters. In the photos shared by Disney, we see Mickey Mouse (in his Mickey and the Roadster Racers outfit), Timon, Vampirina, Doc McStuffins, and Fancy Nancy. We can’t wait to see if other characters will pop in for this fun celebration.
The outdoor space invites guests of all ages to enjoy games and crafts. Guests can enjoy the following characters: Clarabelle Cow, Max Goof, Daisy Duck, Chip ‘n Dale, Donald Duck, and Goofy. Be sure to note that final character sets will be around 4:10 to 4:20 pm.
Magic Kingdom
Get ready to enjoy a Disney-inspired “Big Top Bash” at Magic Kingdom’s Storybook Circus. Guests can enjoy great circus-style performances, see stilt walkers, and more. Guests can join the DJ Ringmaster for fun games, a great dance party with our favorite puppy pal, Pluto.
Cool Kid Summer activities start on May 27 and continue through September 1, 2025
Head over to the Rocket Tower Plaza Stage to dance with Stitch. You can beat the summer heat and enjoy an out-of-this-world craft inspired by the upcoming Disney-Pixar film “Elio” inside Merchant of Venus. There will also be fun roaming characters to enjoy.
Animal Kingdom & Resorts
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, get ready to roam, explore, and earn your adventure stripes! Buzz over to Rafiki’s Planet Watch for hands-on crafting activities all about pollinators, like bees and butterflies.
Explorers can earn a limited edition Wilderness Explorers badge. There will even be a fun sing-along with a Dino Institute Intern at Discovery Island. This will be a wild time for the young and the young at heart.
As an added bit of Disney magic, guests staying at Art of Animation, Pop Century Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, and Wilderness Lodge this summer will also see more activities for families, including posted character appearances.
