If you want to visit one of Walt Disney World’s signature shops before it closes forever, you will have to hurry. Here are all the details for when to expect the closure.
Permanent Disney Closures
Disney has experienced quite a few permanent closures in 2023. The most prevalent, of course, is the popular Magic Kingdom attraction Splash Mountain, which is coming closer each day to being replaced with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Perhaps the most shocking closure was Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. We still do not know exactly what will replace the immersive hotel.
EPCOT’s restaurant Tokyo Dining also closed forever. However, now you can dine at its replacement Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya, which is arguably one of the best places to dine in EPCOT.
We have also seen several shopping locations close in Dinsey World including Sosa Family Cigars. And, now another fun specialty shop is vanishing.
Closing in the New Year
Guests of the Walt Disney World resort only have a few more days to visit one of the signature stores in Disney Springs. The Art of Shaving at the Landing in Disney Springs has been there for nearly a decade.
In fact, the Disney Springs location is one of the few remaining brick-and-mortar locations for The Art of Shaving. It looks like the company is moving to an online shopping model, so you can still enjoy the products through online ordering.
Now, when you call the Art of Shaving Disney Springs location, a voice message lets you know that the store is permanently closing. It will close on January 2, 2024.

We do not know what is on horizon in terms of a relplacement for the Art of Shaving. Hopefully, something fun will come! Disney Springs is not slowing down on its trendy offerings. For example, a Lulu Lemon moved in, and a Rothy’s is coming soon!
