Disney fans you will not want to miss out on this new update.
Huge Updates
This morning is the Destination D23 at Walt Disney World and the Dinsey Park news is just streaming in. From the opening date for Journey of Water, to the materializing of the Hatbox Ghost, to a new Star Wars experience, and even a great update for the Country Bear Jamboree.
As the presentation continues this morning, the updates continue as well. As we head over to EPCOT, we get an opening timeline for the nighttime spectacular. They also shared a great new refurbishment for a fan-favorite attraction, Test Track. Also, be sure to check out the opening date for the Figment Meet & Greet HERE.
Zootopia Coming to Animal Kingdom
Earlier we shared a brand new look inside the brand new Zootopia Land at Shanghai Disney Resort. Guests of Shanghai Disney Resort will also enjoy entertainment, merchandise, and food and beverage offerings in this new land. This will be the first time Zootopia is represented in a Disney theme park other than character sightings and meetings.
Now Disney’s Animal Kingdom will get a great new addition as well. For the first time ever, you will not simply see characters from Zootopia, but you will soon be able to enjoy a Zootopia show.
The current show “It’s Tough To Be a Bug” will soon receive a new look. Today during the Destination D23 at Walt Disney World, Disney shared that a brand new Zootopia show will soon come to the Tree of Life to replace “It’s Tough To Be a Bug.”
This may be a bit disappointing to some Disney fans who hoped that the reimagining of DinoLand may bring Zootopia Land to Walt Disney World. Check out the new reimagining of DinoLand HERE.
An opening date is not yet set for this new Zootopia show to replace “It’s Tough To Be a Bug.” Be sure to continue checking back with Kenny the Pirate for more updates for this experience.
