Halfway To Halloween!
As part of the #HalfwayToHalloween weeklong celebration, Disney has added another exciting product to the list of offerings. Today we received news of when the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will run in Disney World. In addition, there have been lots of updates on merchandise, special treats, and what to expect with Tron during party nights.
Not to be left out, Disney also announced an update on the Oogie-Boogie Bash in Disneyland as well as an exciting new DVC project in Disney World.
New Item Coming To Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a deluxe Magic Kingdom Area resort in Walt Disney World. One of the 1971 original resorts, the Polynesian is a popular place to stay with convenient transportation to the Magic Kingdom, unique theming, and great views of Seven Seas Lagoon.
The last few years have featured a great deal of change at the Polynesian, one of Walt Disney World’s flagship resorts. We have seen a Moana room makeover, DVC room refreshes, club level enhancements, and a new entrance and monorail platform. In addition, we have seen progress continue on the new DVC expansion at the resort.
In addition, I (Joe) shared an update on a refreshed look for The Great Ceremonial House Lobby. A lot has been going on at the resort.
Today, a new product was announced, coming to Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto. Trader Sam’s is a very popular destination for guests visiting the Polynesian. The theming of Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and Tiki Terrace is a tropical bar and lounge area that captures the uniqueness of the South Seas with the theming, food, and beverages. The bar and terrace are located at the Great Ceremonial House at the resort.
As part of the HalfwayToHalloween celebration, a new limited time Haunted Mansion Gargoyle Tiki Mug will be available at Trader Sam’s. The mug will materialize starting at 3:00PM today and will be sold while supplies last! The mugs will be sold with the Look Alive Mai Tai or the Ghoulish Delight (non-alcoholic).
Headed to the resort? Wristband distribution started today at 12PM. Guests report that there is already a line forming, so expect these mugs to sell out fast.
