The Skyliner is one of Disney World’s best transportation systems. Did you know there is a scavenger hunt on the Skyliner?

Introduced in the fall of 2019, the Disney Skyliner became one of the best ways to travel around The Walt Disney World Resort. While you have to wait for other transportation options like the monorail and bus, the Skyliner is a continuous loading process. You can get from Caribbean Beach to Hollywood Studios in less than 5 minutes!

These individual gondolas take you and your party up into the sky as you see Disney World like never before! One of my favorite views is seeing the France Pavilion as my gondola heads into the International Gateway at Epcot. Many consider it an attraction that must be experienced just like any other ride at Disney.

Anyone can use the Skyliner. You do not need to be staying at a specific resort (or even onsite for that matter) to be able to use it. Like other forms of transportation at Disney World, it is completely free to board and there’s no limit to how many times you can utilize it.

You can read more about the Skyliner in this guide.

If you are looking to have a little fun on a rest day or as you travel to Epcot or Hollywood Studios, be sure to participate in the Skyliner Rally Scavenger Hunt! Using the Skyliner, travel through all of the connecting resorts to answer the clues inside this hunt! Participating resorts include:

You can pick up the packet of clues at the recreation centers at any of the above resorts. The best part is you do not have to be staying at these resorts to participate! Cast Members shared with me that there is no time limit or rules in order to complete the scavenger hunt. Simply pick up the packet and complete as quickly or leisurely as you want.

In fact, you do not have to tell anyone when you complete the hunt. This is just something fun to do that allows you to experience the resorts in a different way.

Clues

Inside the packet, clues are listed under each resort. Disney invites you to grab a photo with the answer or simply write it down. You can share your experience on social media, and the hashtag to use is listed on the packet as well.

I do not wish to spoil the fun for you but thought I may share one clue from each resort so you have an idea of what the scavenger hunt is asking you to look for. If you want to participate and be completely surprised, skip this section!

Art of Animation: Shrink down to Sebastian size and go take a picture with your favorite thing-a-ma-bob. Write what it is!

POP Century: When you see Mickey talking on an old rotary phone, you’ll know you’re on track. What’s the weight limit on the Big Wheel?

Caribbean Beach: Travel to Martinique Beach and locate the bird house. What kind of bird will you find here?

Riviera: In the lobby, which friends can be found playing on the beach?

Yacht and Beach Club: What is the name of the boat that is shipwrecked on the shores of Crescent Lake?

Boardwalk: Pose for a photo with the sunflower children! Do you know what their names are?

In addition to the ones listed above, each resort has 3 more clues/challenges to complete. There are a total of 4 at each resort.

Helpful tips

Be prepared for lots of walking! You will be walking all over the resorts. If you are staying on the Skyliner you may want to spread the hunt out over the course of your vacation and complete it as you have time.

Give yourself enough time. The Skyliner may be busy or temporarily closed. Then, there is the actual travel time on the Skyliner heading to your destination. You may need to make multiple stops. Additionally, you will also need to walk around the resort. I would allot about 3-4 hours to complete the entire challenge at all 7 resorts.

Think outside the box. Take a good look at what the clues are asking and think about where you may find it at the resort. You may have to head to the lobby, a pool, or somewhere else!

You can ask for help! Any recreation Cast Member should be able to give you hints.

Finally, have fun! There is no time limit or competition. Enjoy this special time exploring the resorts with your travel party.
