Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction is one of the most fun rides ever! Check out details on expanding this attraction here.
Mickey’s and Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Step into the world of Mickey and Minnie in this new attraction. It is the first ride to feature our favorite mice! It’s one of of our must-do activities during each visit to Hollywood Studios.
Do you find yourself humming “Nothing can stop us now” long after your vacation has ended? I (Susan) sure do! There are so many catchy tunes here. One of my favorite scenes is Daisy doing the conga with guests. It makes me smile every time.
Do you enjoy the fabulous Mickey’s Runaway Railway peppy Pre-Show? I (Susan) love when the screen “explodes” and Goofy “talks” to the cast member. It’s my favorite pre-show for a Disney attraction.
Toontown
Disneyland’s Mickey’s Toontown closed on March 9, 2022 and will reopen in early 2023. At reopening, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will also debut here.
According to Ken Potrock, who is the President of Disneyland, Runaway Railway will not be identical on both coasts. In fact, he states the Disneyland version will be the better of the two!
Disneyland’s Runaway Railway will not be identical to Disney World’s attraction.
In an interview with the Orange County Register, he stated the Disneyland version will be better because it has “enhancements” Disney World does not have. Could that mean more interactive features? Different technology? We will have to wait and see.
