Mobile ordering can be convenient, but at this location it didn’t always work that way. Read the details and let us know if you agree.

Since introducing mobile order service in 2017, Disney has continually expanded continuously expanding the service to additional dining locations and adding new options like table-service to go.

Before social distancing, guests were more freely allowed to enter restaurants and wait for their food to be prepared inside the restaurant. However, now Cast Member stand outside each dining to confirm that guests orders are ready.

At Aloha Isle, guests enjoy the traditional pineapple and vanilla Dole Whip along with rotating flavors. To locate this walk up location, head to Adventureland at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Here, look for the very popular Aloha Isle quick service spot right beside the Enchanted Tiki Room.

Check out our Crooning Flower 50th Dole Whip treat review HERE. In addition, Dole Whip is also sold at Disney’s Polynesian Resort at Pineapple Lanai.

My Experience

Placing my (Susan) mobile order was simple. After My Disney Experience notified me that my order was ready, I looked for the Mobile Ordering line. However, this was extremely unorganized and confusing. Usually, guests go to a Cast Member who directs them to a nearby pick up window. This process left me stressed because nothing was clearly marked, Cast Members were not helpful, and there were people everywhere.

Finally, a fellow guest assisted me in finding the Mobile Ordering line. As you can see from the picture above, the line was quite long zig zagging around the front of the building. I figured out that since no Cast Member checked people in line, most of those waiting did not have their order ready yet. This caused me to wait about 15 minutes to pick up my 50th Aloha Isle.

So, literally, the mobile line was TOO MUCH! It may seem trivial to be stressed waiting in line, but I struggle with anxiety and confusing situations like this affect me negatively. Is there a better way? YES! Check out the non-existent line to order directly at the Aloha Isle window above.

Final Thoughts

As you read above, I am not a fan of mobile ordering at Aloha Isle. However, I also understand that others may have a different experience. Whether or not you prefer mobile ordering here, Disney has made that decision for us. Aloha Isle is no longer offering mobile ordering at this location.

Aloha Isle no longer offers mobile ordering.

This is good news for me, what about you? Did you prefer mobile ordering or just walking up and placing an order? Please share your thoughts with us below or on our Facebook Page.
