Mobile Ordering: The Key to Saving Valuable Disney Minutes

Mobile Ordering: The Key to Saving Valuable Disney Minutes

No one wants to spend their Disney vacation waiting in line.  Mobile ordering saves time waiting in line, and I’ve got step-by-step instructions on how to use this great service!

Mobile ordering service, available through the My Disney Experience app, allows guests to order ahead of time from various locations and pick up food and beverages at their convenience.  Skip the line and be sure to use mobile ordering on your next Disney vacation!

Guests can select items to order by clicking the plus at the bottom of the My Disney Experience app home screen and choosing “Order Food.”

From there, select the restaurant and choose items to order.  Menu items can even be customized to fit your exact needs!

Once you’ve reviewed your order, you can pay using a credit card, debit card, or the Disney dining plan.  Currently, Disney gift cards cannot be used as a payment method for online ordering.

When you arrive at the restaurant, select the “I’m Here, Prepare My Order” button and the kitchen will start to prepare your selections!

I thought that I had read that mobile ordering was available for Be Our Guest but I didn't see it listed.

Not Mobile Ordering, but you can order ahead through your restaurant reservation. But, not at dinner, which is a prix-fix.

Also, be aware that if you order alcohol, you need every adult with you (who ordered a drink) to appear at the pick-up window with their I.D.

Mobile Order is especially useful for getting a Dole Whip. I'll get in line (because sometimes Mobile Ordering will be experiencing issues) and make my Mobile Order. Once it goes through, I get out of line, and pretty much walk over and get my items at the pick-up window. And wonder why all those people are just waiting in the regular line...

I’ve found, particularly at Harbour House, many people click that they are at the restaurant before they actually are. I clicked that we were here, walked up to an empty counter and then waited while at least 10 orders were filled before mine. Those people were not in the restaurant before me.
