With the news of the new Lightning Lane feature coming to Walt Disney World and Disneyland, we immediately wonder about how this may affect Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure set to open this fall. Check out all that we now know about the opening of this ride and how this may be affected.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

On October 1st, Guests will finally be able to shrink down to the size of Remy as they scamper through Gusteau’s famous Parisian Restaurant.

Today we shared that the FastPass system that we know and love will not be returning. Disney is releasing a new program that will operate through the new Genie app known as the Lightning Lane.

This new system will be available at a price at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Check out more about this new system HERE and how this will affect the current DAS program HERE.

How Will this Affect Remy?

Today we have our first information as to how the queue will form for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. According to theme park reporter Scott Gustin, when Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opens on October 1st Guests will use a virtual queue system as is currently used for Rise of the Resistance in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

When the Disney Genie launches this fall. Guests will have the option to either join the Virtual Queue for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in the morning or they can purchase a Lightning Lane pass for this attraction.

How much more money can Disney suck out of guests. They make the system sound so great as they stick their hand in your wallet and steal cash. So sad! They are making it more and more difficult for the average family to go to WDW.
