Reimagined Magic
One of the most debated concerns among Disney fans are the limited Guest experiences in the Disney Parks at this time. Disney has done a great job reimagining Character interactions for the safety of Guests and Cast Members alike.
We have shared about all of the great Character Cavalcades that are available in all four of the Walt Disney World Parks. What I love about these Character Cavalcades is that they occur so frequently. They can easily be enjoyed multiple times throughout your day.
There are also great Pop-Up Characters that can be found throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and even at the Touch of Disney event held at Disney’s California Adventure. Check out Marisol’s full review of this event HERE.
Newly Imagined Magic
Guests have loved these fun interactions with characters, but Disney has reimagined character experiences once again. Now being tested at the Touch of Disney event is an “Imagineering Playtest” interaction with our favorite pixie, Tinker Bell.
Instagram user Jenn Tanaka and her family were able to try out this new experience while visiting the Taste of Disney event. The video interactions were truly AMAZING!
At first, Guests were having trouble understanding Tinker Bell. That is until she flew to her “Voice Amplifier.” She then asked the Guests their names and began a personal interaction with them. First she asked about their favorite season so that she could enter this into her “Magical Field Journal.”
A new interaction is now being tested at the Taste of Disney event that includes personal interactions with our favorite pixie, Tinker Bell.
Once spring was selected as their favorite season, Pixie Hollow came alive with beautiful fluttering butterflies. The family was even able to have their picture taken with their favorite pint-size Pixie. You can check out the videos from this experience HERE.
This is such an awesome experience that is currently being tested. We hope that this may be made available to all Guests once Disneyland reopens later this month. I know my family would love if this same experience could be made available at Walt Disney World as well.

Although it's really cool, I still prefer a photo with an actual character. At least with the calvacades the characters are still in the photo. This experience is VERY cool! I'm just missing the character photo.
