Disney World's Biggest Resort Perk Changes Next Week

Many Guests choose to stay at Disney Parks Resort to enjoy many great perks. They feel that the price of a Disney Resort is justified to be able to stay inside the "Disney Bubble".
A few of the most popular perks include Early Theme Park Hours, various modes of free Disney transportation throughout Walt Disney World.

Disney Resort Perk Is Changing
For 2025 packages, Guests staying at a Disney Resort could enjoy admission to one of the water parks on check-in day! It was not completely removed, but rather modified to be offered only to guests during the Summer of 2026.
Guests checking in between May 26, 2026, and September 8, 2026, can enjoy free entry at either Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or Disney's Blizzard Beach.
That means that this great perk will no longer be available on Guests' arrival day starting next Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
Typhoon Lagoon Closure
As the free water park perk ends, Walt Disney World will close Disney's Typhoon Lagoon on September 9, 2026 for a routine refurbishment.
The final day to enjoy the free Disney Water Park perk is September 8, 2026.
