Disney World Removes Resort Perk for Select Guests in 2027
One popular resort perk returns in 2027, but sadly, this will now only be available for select Walt Disney World Resorts. What do you think of this change?

Many Guests choose to stay at Disney Parks Resort to enjoy many great perks. They feel that the price of a Disney Resort is justified to be able to stay inside the "Disney Bubble".
A few of the most popular perks include various modes of free Disney transportation throughout Walt Disney World, and the opportunity to interact with their favorite Disney pals at select Disney resorts. See the schedule Disney made for this fun perk HERE.
As Walt Disney World opened 2027 Vacation Packages, we now have confirmation of which perks will return. Yesterday, we shared that both Early Entry and Extended Evening Hours will return for 2027.
Free Water Park 2027
In 2025, Walt Disney World Resort Guests enjoyed free entry at either Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or Disney's Blizzard Beach (depending on park availability) on check-in day. This perk was offered throughout the entire year.
In 2026, the free water park perk is only offered in summer (May 26 through September 8) for Walt Disney World Resort Guests on the day of check-in.
As we look forward to 2027, the free water park perk returns, but once again, this will only be offered for the summer. Disney has not shared specific dates for this perk.
Disney Perk Missing
There is a new exception for the free water park perk in 2027. This does not extend to guests staying at the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.
