Disney+ Explores a Free Tier
Disney+ subscription prices rise every year, and finally, a new alternative is being explored. See what a free Disney+ tier would look like.
Disney+ Tiers

Disney+ debuted in 2019 and has seen many changes over the years. One of the biggest changes of course were price increases.
In August 2022, Disney+ introduced an ad-supported tier. Even with this change, every year the price for both the Basic subscription (ad-supported) and Premium subscription (no ads) continues to climb.
Currently, the price for the Basic subscription (ad-supported) is $12.99, and the Premium subscription (no ads) is $19.99.
Disney+ Free Tier

According to Business Insider, a third option may be available soon. The best part is that this would be a FREE tier.
YouTube, Roku, and the Tubi channel have gained more viewers as many refuse to pay the high prices for streaming services.
If Disney were to offer a free tier, this would help differentiate it from other streaming services.
What a FREE Disney+ Tier would look like

About three months ago, Disney+ added "Verts" as a "New way to find what to watch". Guests can now easily scroll a vertical feed of movie and show scenes.
Disney+ may soon offer a free tier.
Many think this may be where the free Disney+ tier would reside. This would only offer limited free access, but at least this comes without a large subscription fee every month.
What do you think Disney+ would include in this free tier? Have you canceled Disney+ because of rising subscription costs? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.
