Animal Kingdom Looks Much Different This Morning
Guests at Disney's Animal Kingdom were a bit shocked this morning. What do you think of the change?
Disney World Changes

As Walt Disney once said, "We keep moving forward," and that is very true at Walt Disney World. Magic Kingdom is undergoing the "largest expansion" ever for this park with the addition of Villains Land and Piston Peak National Park.
At Disney's Hollywood Studios the former Animation Courtyard is being transformed into "Magic of Disney Animation". This space will have a phased opening this summer.
In Disney's Hollywood Studios, the Muppet Courtyard officially closed in June. Since that closure, many buildings have been removed. We now see "Monster Size" progress at Monstropolis as work begins for pouring concrete.
DinoLand Removed

Of course one of the biggest changes will take place at Disney's Animal Kingdom. DinoLand is now officially extinct. Yesterday, February 1st, was the final day to enjoy the DINOSAUR attraction and to dine at Restaurantosaurus.
Last night after the final Guests enjoy DINOSAUR, the entire DinoLand location was removed from the My Disney Experience app. Guests exiting Disney's Animal Kingdom were given the current guide maps.
This morning, February 2nd, brand new guide maps are now available to Guests featuring "Tropical Americas" now with no mention of DinoLand USA. Construction walls now completely block Guests access to DinoLand.
Animal Kingdom Changes

Last week we shared the new Tropical Americas playground map that is proposed for this new space. Check out this first look HERE. This new playground will take over the current Cretaceous Trail, where Guests can meet Chip 'n' Dale and Donald & Daisy in their dinosaur-themed costumes.
DinoLand is now completely removed from Disney's Animal Kingdom.
This morning, both Donald and Daisy Duck greet Guests at the Park entrance wearing their former Camp Mickey outifits. We also noticed a change for the "Finding Nemo: The Big Blue...and Beyond!" show is now housed in the newly named "Theater in the Wild" Land.
