Breaking: Huge Show Buildings Revealed for Villains Land and Piston Peak
After several weeks of no real news on the progress for Villains Land and Piston Peak, we now have our first look at these new lands, and they are HUGE.
Magic Kingdom's Biggest Expansion

There are BIG changes coming to Magic Kingdom with the new Villains Land and the new Cars-themed Piston Peak National Park.
Disney claims this is "the largest expansion in history at Magic Kingdom."
Villains Land will be located at Disney's Magic Kingdom as part of the "Beyond Big Thunder" expansion. While Piston Peak (Cars Land) will take over the previous Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island location.
Promised New Lands

Disney has shared a few details of what each of these lands will feature. Villains Land will include 2 attractions, dining, shopping, and more. Be sure to check out the full villainous lineup HERE.
Piston Peak National Park will feature a Cars "rally race" attraction. This new area is inspired by the Rocky Mountains. The characters from Cars will be driving off the beaten path, trying to get the fastest lap in the west! Check out the new concept art below:
Guests have noticed much work taking place for Piston Peak National Park amid all of the construction walls. What many of us have wondered is exactly how big these two new lands will be.
Villains Land and Piston Peak Attractions

Today, Disney filed a new wastewater document for "Project SNK" with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. This map is the proposed building and utilities planned for both Villains Land and Piston Peak National Park.
The proposed map shows plans for attractions at both Villains Land and Piston Peak.
This is simply a proposal, but this is HUGE to understand just how massive this expansion will be. In the photo below (courtesy of @behindthethrills), there are two large attraction-sized buildings for Villains Land. The other smaller buildings may serve for dining or retail locations.

What is interesting in the Piston Peak National Park is how close it appears to be to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Earlier, Disney Imagineers shared that the Big Thunder Mountain geyser field will extend into Piston Peak National Park. Guests can walk these pathways and see the rainbow pools up close! A large geyser that will erupt faithfully will be there, perfectly named "Old Tank Full."
After looking at this proposed layout, this new Piston Peak National Park will take up much of the former Rivers of America. We can't wait for Disney to share more plans for these new lands.
