Disappointing Trend for Magic Kingdom Guests
Walt Disney World guests will need to adjust their park plans based on these new entertainment changes just released. Will this affect your trip?
Best Time to Visit Disney World

Over the past several months, the Walt Disney Company has been under attack by many who feel that the Disney parks are too expensive for the average family.
The Walt Disney Company suggests that the more "budget-conscious" guests visit the Disney Parks when crowds are lower throughout the year.
This may be great for the budget, but this also leads to a different Disney Park experience. Walt Disney World often adjusts operating hours based on crowd attendance. This will also often affect entertainment offerings as well.
Disney Starlight Parade Showtimes

Magic Kingdom debuted the nighttime parade, "Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away," this past summer.
Disney Parks made a few positive upgrades to this parade, but now we see several disappointing changes affecting showtimes.
Since "Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away" first debuted, it has offered two showtimes each night (with the exception of special ticketed events such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
Disney Starlight Reduced Showtimes

Earlier, we shared that Magic Kingdom will reduce "Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away" to a single showtime starting January 6, 2026.
Disney Starlight Parade continues to offer reduced showtimes.
This disappointing trend continues through January as the new schedule extends to January 17, 2026. The current showtime schedule (subject to change) includes:
- January 1-3, 2026: 7:45 pm and 10:30 pm
- January 4-5, 2026: 7:45 pm and 10:00 pm
- January 6-8, 2026: 7:45 pm
- January 9-10, 2026: 7:45 pm and 10:00 pm
- January 11-15, 2026: 7:45 pm
- January 16-17, 2026: 7:45 pm and 10:00 pm
Plan ahead! On nights with only one Disney Starlight parade showing, expect the parade route to be crowded!
