Two Great Additions to Disney's Starlight Parade
Disney Starlight is a HUGE hit for Magic Kingdom! Now, Disney just made this parade even better. What do you think of these changes?
Disney's Starlight Parade Showtimes

Magic Kingdom fans have been waiting for a nighttime parade since 2016. "Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away" drew inspiration from the rich history of nighttime parades at Magic Kingdom.
"Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away" parade debuted on July 20th at Magic Kingdom.
There are 2 showtimes nightly for this parade, currently at 7:00 pm and 9:45 pm (times subject to change). Showtimes were greatly reduced this fall for both Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party nights and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party nights.
Walt Disney "Plussing"

Walt Disney coined the term "plussing" to encourage his Imagineers to add an extra layer of magic to a great show or attraction. These two new additions to Disney's Starlight Parade are a great example of this "plussing" concept.
Many Disney fans love the gorgeous illuminated floats of Disney's Starlight, but many have commented that the walking performers that precede the floats are a bit lackluster.
Last night, we noticed a great new addition ahead of the Moana float. The "waves" just received a "glow-up," and this takes this portion of the parade to the next level.
Changes for Disney's Starlight Parade

Near the finale of Disney's Starlight Parade is the Peter Pan and Wendy float. Tinkerbell interacts with guests as this float approaches.
Disney's Starlight Parade receives 2 new improvements.
Now, Tinkerbell has also received a "glow-up," and we love it! It is amazing how these two seemingly small changes make such a big impact. All thanks to Walt Disney for coining the term "plussing" so many years ago.
