During the D23: Ultimate Fan Event in 2024, Disney announced a brand-new land bringing the Pride Lands to life.

This land will include dining, shopping, and a chance to meet some favorite characters. The Lion King ride is an all-new water attraction similar to Tiana's Bayou Adventure. This will bring Pride Rock to life for Disney fans, featuring a 52-foot drop.

Once it opens, it will be the largest attraction featured at Disney's Adventure World Park at Disneyland Paris.

This weekend at the D23: Ultimate Fan Event, Disney Imagineers shared additional details and images of this new attraction that is in development.

Guests will listen to classic songs and pass through a variety of memorable scenes from the film, including Simba's final confrontation with Scar.

Disney Imagineers share, "Audio animatronic figures, special effects, and three exciting slopes will bring the story of the film to life."

The new ride is a full retelling of Simba's journey from cub to king, detailing the happy times… and the not-so-happy times that stood in the way of the future king of Pride Rock. Can you imagine seeing the fight scene between Scar and Simba in person?
