Finally, This Fantasyland Location Reopens Tomorrow
Not only will this location open tomorrow at Magic Kingdom's Fantasyland, but it will also reopen with some great surprises.
Walt Disney World Expansion
As Walt Disney once said, "We keep moving forward," and that is very true at Walt Disney World. Magic Kingdom is undergoing the "largest expansion" ever for this park, with the addition of Villains Land and Piston Peak National Park.
At Disney's Hollywood Studios the former Animation Courtyard is being transformed into "Magic of Disney Animation". This space will have a phased opening this summer and work is well underway for Monstropolis.

Fantasyland Closure
Originally, Disney shared that Pete's Silly Sideshow would close starting January 5, 2026. This timeline has now sped up slightly with a new closing date of January 4, 2026.
Although this refurbishment closed the traditional meeting queue for Donald, Goofy, Daisy, and Minnie, they were spotted roaming Storybook Circus while this closure took place.
This also affected Big Top Souvenirs, which temporarily closed in February 2026 and would reopen to Guests later in the year. Smellophants on Parade did remain open to Guests.
Big Top Souvenirs New Treats
Big Top Souvenirs reopens tomorrow, August 21, 2026, at Magic Kingdom. The best part is that this newly reopened location will feature several new treats.

New treats:
- Mickey Churro Caramel Apple: Granny Smith apple with marshmallow ears dipped in Werther's® Original® caramel, white chocolatey coating, and churro cinnamon sugar
- Dumbo Caramel Apple: Granny Smith apple with sugar cookie ears dipped in Werther's® Original® caramel and chocolatey coating with red fondant collar and yellow chocolatey hat
- Mickey Snowcone Marshmallow Pop: Marshmallow coated in fruit-flavored chocolatey coating with colorful sanding sugars
- Minnie Pink Lemonade Cupcake: Pink lemonade-flavored cupcake and buttercream frosting with white chocolatey ears, assorted sprinkles, and chocolatey bow
- Mickey Vanilla Celebration Cupcake: Vanilla cupcake with buttercream frosting, dark chocolatey ears, colorful chocolatey stars, and sprinkle surprise inside
- Dumbo Sandwich Cookie: Two Dumbo-shaped sugar cookies with vanilla buttercream and colorful sprinkles
- Mickey Circus Cookie: Mickey-shaped sugar cookie with pink or white chocolatey coating and colorful sprinkles
- Circus Chips: Corn chips coated in brown sugar and cinnamon
- Big Top Dippers: Animal crackers and apple slices served with vanilla buttercream, Werther's® Original® caramel, and colorful sprinkles for dipping
