Disney World Removes This Pandora Experience
This is the Land of Pandora closure that we were not expecting. See how this may affect your next trip to Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Animal Kingdom Closures

Disney's Animal Kingdom is my second favorite park. I (Donna) absolutely love the Land of Pandora and the clever theming as you travel through Africa and Asia.
There are many changes taking place at Disney's Animal Kingdom, in particular with the phased closure of DinoLand USA. Be sure to enjoy your last opportunity to "Catch that dino with a new overlay at DINOSAUR.
Replacing the "It's Tough To Be a Bug" 3D show held inside the iconic Tree of Life, "Zootopia Better Zoogether" has officially opened. Check out all of the great meet and greets that this new attraction will bring HERE.
Land of Pandora Experience

In the pre-show for Flight of Passage, guests are scanned and linked with their own personal avatar. When they enter the "Link Chamber," they connect to their avatar and are then able to fly on the back of their banshee.
When exiting the attraction, guests could make their own Avatar at the ACE Avatar Maker located inside the Windtraders gift shop. An Alpha Centauri Expedition Scan Technician used a facial capture scanner to enter the full can into the Hybrid Digitizing System.
The ACE Avatar Maker first opened in 2017, but closed for quite some time due to COVID and reopened in 2022. This past June many were worried about this unique experience when Disney offered a deep discount.
Pandora Experience Closed

Back in October, we shared that the ACE Avatar Experience was closed and blocked to guests. Yesterday, while at Disney's Animal Kingdom, this was completely removed.
ACE Avatar Experience is now removed from Disney's Animal Kingdom.
At Magic Kingdom, Disney has offered deep discounts on the TRON Identity Program, which is similar to the ACE Avatar Experience. We wonder if that experience may follow in closing.
What do you think of this closure? Did you ever enjoy this experience? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.
