Yesterday, we shared that a throwback to The Great Movie Ride is now on display at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Check this out HERE.

MGM Studios opened to Guests on May 1, 1989. The theme of this new park was to serve as a window into "Old Hollywood."

Disney added additional attractions throughout the years. Soon, the focus shifted from the studio experience of opening day to a new vision.

Thankfully, a new attraction brings back those Old Hollywood vibes just in time for the holidays. Walt Disney Presents is located at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Animation Courtyard.

Disney promised that while much work is being completed for the new "Magic of Disney Animation" area that both "The Little Mermaid- A Musical Adventure" and "Walt Disney Presents" will remain open.

Starting tomorrow, November 14, 2025, a new attraction will be on display with many artifacts from Walt Disney holiday films, including:

  • "The Santa Clause"
  • "Disney Noelle"
  • "Babes in Toyland"
  • "The Muppets Christmas Carol"

Along with this, guests can enjoy classic animated shorts, including "On Ice", "Pluto's Christmas Tree", and "The Art of Skiing".

While at Walt Disney Presents, stop by and visit with Santa Claus in his new meet and greet location.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Donna loved Disney from an early age. As a child, her family would joke that she lived in "Donna Land." As an adult, she enjoys planning and creating magical vacations for her family. She always brings a little faith, trust, and a little bit of Pixie Dust!

  1. what spoils the parks are lack of shade , seating, and the amout of guests let into the theme park today was so rammed you could hardly move . all of the rides where well over an hour wait . so unless you fork more money to ride prepare to queue. I hate the fact you have to pay to get in and pay if you really wanna ride the good stuff .

    1. vacationing has become exactly that description.
      An up charge SHAKEDOWN !

Vegas, theme parks, cruise industry, airlines, concerts, sporting events. Even parking your car is now a cash grab.

When they finally all go broke and look for tax payer bailouts remember who was there to bail you out in your desperate hour.
Certainly not the mortgage company or alike.

Call your State and Federal elected officials how get donations from all those industries gouging you that you'll actively campaign against them if they bailout those legalized larcenists.

Give them all some shade !
And find a nice bench to sit on at the Federal Bankruptcy court. The wait times are long and expendsive.

  2. do they mean the original Babes in Toyland from the 60s? or the remake from the 80s starring a coked out of her mind Drew Barrymore?

  3. I would go on the Great Movie Ride anyday before I would go on Mickey's Runaway Railroad and its frequent break downs and inducement of motion sickness.

    1. The breakdowns are very annoying. I'm not sure why Disney loves the ride technology used for this, Rise of the Resistance, and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure.
