How to Register for Free Airport Luggage Transfer at Disney World

Disney World used to offer Resort Airline Check-In. Unfortunately, this amazing offering disappeared during Walt Disney World's closure for COVID-19.

Earlier this spring, Walt Disney World began testing the return for return flights only for guests staying at Pop Century and flying with Southwest out of Orlando International Airport (MCO).

The Airport Luggage Transfer Program soon expanded to all five Walt Disney World Value Resorts. This includes All-Star Movies, All-Star Sports, All-Star Music, Pop Century, and Art of Animation.

Yesterday, we shared AMAZING news that Disney is now testing and expanding this service both to and from the Orlando International Airport for domestic guests flying Southwest.

Again, this is still in the testing phase. Many readers, and we ourselves included, hoped that this would be expanded to more Walt Disney World Resorts.

Unfortunately, the Airport Luggage Transfer Program is limited to just the 5 Value Resorts (All-Star Movies, All-Star Sports, All-Star Music, Pop Century, and Art of Animation) for both arrivals and departures. This perk for arrivals begins November 18, 2025.

How to register for Disney Airport Luggage Transfer

The Airport Luggage Transfer page is live and available for registration. The first step is to "Verify Your Reservation". You will enter your Walt Disney World Resort Confirmation number along with your Resort arrival date.

Registration is now open for Airport Luggage Transfer for Southwest arrivals at MCO.

On the next page, guests enter their Southwest confirmation and flight number. You can also enter the number of luggage tags you and your traveling party will need.

Finally, guests enter their luggage tag shipping details. Guests using this service can register 30 and 5 days before their Southwest flight HERE. You can even track your checked luggage in real time.

Bag check will deliver luggage from the airport to the resort approximately four hours after arrival. If you need additional luggage tags or have other questions you can contact Bag Check directly at [email protected] or by phone (407)505-7443 between 7:00 am and 11:30 pm (ET).

Luggage tags will be mailed within 48 hours after enrollment. This registration only applies to arrival flights. To have your luggage transferred from your Walt Disney World Resort to the airport, follow these steps.
