Reports Confirm the Fourth Fatality at Disney World This Month
It is with heavy hearts that a fourth death at Walt Disney World has been confirmed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Cast Members and emergency responders caring for those affected by the tragedies at Walt Disney World this month.
Walt Disney World Tragedies

While Disney works hard to create a magical environment for guests, things still happen outside of its control. The month of October has been a hard one for the Disney Parks.
On October 6, 2025, a fatal crash closed roadways towards EPCOT; on October 9, 2025, a guest was found unresponsive and later passed away aboard Disneyland's Haunted Mansion.
Last week, a guest passed away at Disney's Contemporary Resort, and just the other day, a Fort Wilderness guest passed away as well.
Bay Lake Tower Emergency

Yesterday, we shared reports from guests that there was a large police presence along with a fire truck and ambulance at Disney's Bay Lake Towers.
Near the back of Bay Lake Towers, near the fountain, a large section was blocked off with police tape. According to guests, Cast Members blocked windows that looked out at this location, and guests in select rooms were urged not to look out from their balconies.
We were hopeful that the individuals affected were receiving medical care at a local hospital.
Fourth Walt Disney World Death

Today Entertainment Weekly, shares a confirmation from the Orange County Medical Examiner's Office that a Walt Disney World Resort guest sadly passed away on October 23, 2025.
Sadly four tragedies have occurred at the Walt Disney World Resort this month.
Out of respect for the guest's friends and family, we will not share a name, but offer our thoughts and prayers during this time of loss.
We are thankful for the skilled Cast Members and first responders who diligently work to provide support and care for all guests while they are at the Disney Parks. These tragedies were so unexpected, but the Disney Parks were able to provide care and comfort.
Please join us in prayers for peace and comfort for the families affected by this tragedy.
