Tragic Death Aboard the Haunted Mansion
It is with heavy hearts that we share a tragic death aboard Disney's Haunted Mansion. Please join us in prayers for this family.
Tragedy in the "Disney Bubble"

One of the main reasons guests choose to stay at a Walt Disney World resort is the benefit of staying within the "Disney Bubble." The idea behind the "Disney Bubble" is that once you arrive at Walt Disney World, you never have to leave the Disney magic.
While Disney works hard to create a magical environment for guests, things still happen outside of its control.
Earlier this week, we shared news of a fatal crash that involved five vehicles, closing down EPCOT Center Drive (also known as S.R. 536) to allow for a full investigation.
Tragedy Aboard Haunted Mansion

According to KTLA 5, a female guest in her 60s was found unresponsive aboard the Haunted Mansion attraction at Disneyland on Monday, October 6, 2025.
The Anaheim Fire & Rescue crews responded around 6:30 pm to assist the unresponsive guest. Prior to the paramedics' arrival, Disneyland security performed CPR on the guest.
Sadly, after being transported to a nearby hospital, the guest was pronounced dead.
Reason for this Tragedy

At this time, the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner's Office is still determining the official cause of death. Sergeant Mat Sutter reassures guests that "there is no indication of any operational issue with the attraction."
