New Stitch Overlay at the Magic Kingdom

New entertainment debuted this summer at Walt Disney World. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, both "Disney Villains Unfairly Ever After" and "The Little Mermaid-A Musical Adventure" opened.

Walt Disney World Railroad "Shuttle Mode"

There are BIG changes coming to Magic Kingdom with the new Villains Land and the new Cars-themed Piston Peak National Park.

Yesterday, Disney warned that it was the last day to enjoy Rivers of America as this closing would make way " for the largest expansion in history at Magic Kingdom."

Due to this expansion, the route for the Walt Disney World Railroad is also altered to show that it is now simply a shuttle between Main Street Station and Fantasyland Station only.

New Stitch Overlay

The "shuttle mode" for the Walt Disney World Railroad may seem like a bummer, but luckily, Stitch has joined the attraction. There is now updated audio, including Stitch! The conductor shares that he is conducting a bit of an "experiment". This is a great way to explain why the train is heading to Storybook Circus "caboose first."

Stitch overlay is only available from Main Street USA to Fantasyland

It is important to note that the Stitch audio only plays as guests travel from Main Street USA to Fantasyland. They have also changed the position of the seat benches to offer both forward and backward seating.
