Today, Disney shared big news coming to Fort Wilderness, and we are so excited for it!

Disney shares, "There's more magic on the horizon: At Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, we're expanding the Meadow Swimming Pool to make room for even more fun and relaxation."

"A brand-new zero-entry pool and deck area is being added alongside the existing pool, effectively doubling the space for guests to enjoy."  The Yacht and Beach Club are the only other Disney resorts to offer a lazy river, so this will be a great addition to this resort.

This expansion will also bring a tennis court and two pickleball courts to Fort Wilderness. Without a doubt, Fort Wilderness offers so many great guest experiences.

These new expansions will provide guests with even more great family memories during their next stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness.

  1. The new pool is a good start for Ft. Wilderness. Disney really needs to restore Trails End to its former glory. Food is OK as a counter service restaurant in its new configuration, but falls way short of what Trails End was before, when it was a full service restaurant. The dining options are inadequate for the number of campsites and cabins in Ft. Wilderness.
