Pirate Crew members were nervous the other day when our #1 Disney Character’s meeting location closed. Find out where you can find him at EPCOT
Disney Characters

One thing that sets Disney Parks apart from other Theme Parks is so many great character meet and greets. We all love classic characters like Mickey and his pals, but many Disney fans love meeting the classics in various costumes.
Our favorite Character Locator, Kenny the Pirate, has been meeting rare and classic characters for over a decade! You can find schedules, tips, and more on Character Locator.
This summer is a great time to meet a big variety of Disney characters with “Cool Kid Summer” and a special Annual Passholder meet and greet.
Donald Duck Missing at EPCOT

Currently, there are large construction walls spanning from EPCOT’s Mexico pavilion to the Norway pavilion. These construction walls cover where guests can meet Donald Duck in his festive sombrero.
When we first shared this on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, Donald Duck’s meet and greet schedule is missing from the My Disney Experience app for EPCOT.
This was a bit disappointing for guests visiting EPCOT, as this is the only location to see Donald Duck at this park.
Donald Duck’s New Location at EPCOT

Many times, Disney will relocate characters, such as at Disney’s Animal Kingdom at DinoLand USA. Thankfully, Walt Disney World has now relocated Donald Duck to greet guests at the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival Lobby. He is dressed in his classic sailor outfit, rather than his sombrero, with this location change.
Donald Duck now greets guests at the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival Lobby.
This is where guests could meet Mickey Mouse when work was being completed on the new CommuniCore Hall. Donald Duck has returned on the My Disney Experience app with showtimes today of 9:30 am to 11:30 am, and 1:15 pm to 3:55 pm (hours subject to change).
