Disney Reveals Mystery Character Meet and Greet

Disney reveals a fun, surprise meet and greet at EPCOT, and we are thrilled. Find out full details for how to meet this favorite Disney character.

This summer is extra magical at Walt Disney World! As part of “Cool Kid Summer”, special characters will greet guests during Early Entry for Walt Disney World Resort guests.

There are also great character meet-and-greets at Animation Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Phineas and Ferb are now greeting guests at EPCOT for a limited time.

Last week, Disney announced that a surprise character will be coming to EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion’s Der Tedddybar location from June 9, 2025, through July 31, 2025.

Dopey Meet and Greet

Disney offered two clues for this surprise character: #1, this is a “beloved Disney character”, and #2, “All my friends are famous”. Today, the surprise revealed that Dopey from Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs will be greeting guests.

This is a great meet and greet since the 7 Dwarfs have been missing at recent special ticketed parties such as Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Dopey is located at the far back of the store. This meet and greet will begin at 10:00 am and will end at 6:00 pm daily. Of course, these times and availability can change without notice.

V.I.Passholder Days

This is limited only to Walt Disney World Annual Passholders. Disney warns, “Due to possible high demand, please arrive early to have an opportunity to join the queue.”

To take part in this experience, Annual Passholders must show their Annual Pass card, linked MagicBand, MagicBand+, or Disney MagicMobile pass, and a government-issued photo ID.
