Summer Characters

Disney will host “Cool Kid Summer” with summer limited-time activities throughout Walt Disney World now until September 1, 2025. Check out our full guide to these activities HERE.
As part of this summer fun, special characters will greet guests during Early Entry for Walt Disney World Resort guests. In preparation for this, guests at Magic Kingdom are spotting many surprise characters.
There are also great character meet-and-greets at Animation Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Phineas and Ferb are now greeting guests at EPCOT for a limited time.
New Character at EPCOT

A surprise character is coming to EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion’s Der Tedddybar location starting June 9, 2025, through July 31, 2025. The real mystery is who this may be. Disney did drop a few clues: #1 this is a “beloved Disney character” and #2 “All my friends are famous”.
This meet and greet will begin at 10:00 am and will end at 6:00 pm daily. Of course, these times and availability can change without notice.
This is limited only to Walt Disney World Annual Passholders. Disney warns, “Due to possible high demand, please arrive early to have an opportunity to join the queue.”
V.I.Passholder Days

To take part in this experience, Annual Passholders must show their Annual Pass card, linked MagicBand, MagicBand+, or Disney MagicMobile pass, and a government-issued photo ID.
Surprise Disney character will arrive at Der Tedddybar (in Germany at EPCOT) starting June 9, 2025, through July 31, 2025.
