Disney finally listened to us and is bringing us the Disney magic that we’ve been missing out on for the past five years. Find out about the new changes that will be coming to Walt Disney World this summer.
Character Interactions

Don’t get us wrong, we do love Early Entry. However, it is disappointing that most characters are unavailable until after the park officially opens for the day.
This summer that is about to change, characters will begin appearing during early entry. Can you imagine saying Mickey Mouse just strolling through the streets for early entry? We are so excited for this!
This will be a great way to enjoy low wait times to see your favorite characters this summer. This will begin May 27 through September 1, 2025.
Summer “Kid Zones”

Beginning May 27 through September 1, 2025, Disney will bring “Kid Zones” with summer limited-time activities throughout Walt Disney World. These kid zones will feature new activities and fun ways to interact with Disney characters.
Disney has not announced full details for this yet but did indicate that Magic Kingdom “Kid Zones” will be added to Storybook Circus and Tomorrowland with Stitch.
Over at Epcot, Goofy will take over Communicore Hall to bring the ultimate game party and play space. This will be such a fun way for kids to be able to beat the heat and enjoy all of the magic of Disney this summer.
Disney Resort Characters

Disney Characters began appearing at Walt Disney World Resorts for the 50th Celebration starting back in 2021. Initially, these characters arrived unscheduled, but now schedules are posted in resort lobbies. Find out more about this HERE.
Special “Kid Zones” will appear at Storybook Circus, Tomorrowland, and Communicore Plaza this summer.
As an added bit of Disney magic, guests staying at Art of Animation, Pop Century Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, and Wilderness Lodge this summer will also see more activities for families, including posted character appearances.
What do you think of this extra magic for children this summer at Walt Disney World? Do you think that Disney should bring more of this Disney magic throughout the parks? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.
