Our once-perfect Walt Disney World is about to get a villainous makeover. Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, get ready for Sunset Boulevard to be transformed for a new villain’s show.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios with also debut “The Little Mermaid—A Musical Adventure.” At Magic Kingdom, summer nights will become even more magical with the “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” parade.
Maleficient Magnet
This summer, V.I.Passholder days return starting May 14 through July 31, 2025. There will be great discounts and a fun private lounge for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders.
Perhaps one of the most fun is the character magnets that are often only available at the Disney Parks. Disney gave us a fun tease last week: “This new Passholder magnet is a thing of dreams…” With the storybook opening and the tease of “dreams,” we have to wonder if this is a nod to Sleeping Beauty.
Disney now confirms that Maleficent will be featured on this new Annual Passholder magnet. “This is awkward, beasties. It seems that Maleficent, the Mistress of Evil, cursed our Passholder magnets with her image.”
How to bring this home
Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can bring home this magnet by visiting EPCOT’s Creations Shop beginning May 14 through July 31, 2025, during normal park operating hours.

This offer is valid for Walt Disney World Resort Passholders. To receive a magnet, each Passholder must be present and show their valid Annual Pass card, linked MagicBand, MagicBand+, or Disney MagicMobile pass, and a government-issued photo ID.
