Surprising Update for Magic Kingdom's Nighttime Parade
The countdown is officially on for Magic Kingdom's Starlight Nighttime Parade. You do not want to miss out on these new details.
"Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away"
Magic Kingdom fans have been waiting for a nighttime parade since 2016. "Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away" will draw inspiration from the rich history of nighttime parades at Magic Kingdom.
In fact, Disney has promised that there will be more than a few Easter eggs for Disney parade fans to discover and delight in. This parade will show reverence to the original classic characters while also including contemporary stories
Disney describes this parade as "a star-kissed constellation of Disney dreams, brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy."
Wish Float Revealed
In November 2023, Disney animation debuted "Wish". This film explores the idea of how the wishing star, the one that multiple Disney characters have wished upon over the years, came to be. It was a great concept to celebrate 100 Years of Wonder for the Walt Disney Company.
We loved the film, but were honestly a bit surprised that this newer film will also be featured in the "Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away Parade."
The Wish float is stunning, featuring Asha, Valentino, and Star (which is nestled in the tree. Currently, the floats listed for this parade include The Blue Fairy from Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Frozen, Princesses (Aurora, Tiana, Cinderella), Moana, wish, Coco, and Encanto.
Disney Starlight Opening Date
The "Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away" now appears on the My Disney Experience app and also on the Walt Disney World website.
A "Wish" float is now revealed featuring Asha, Valentino, and Star.
Unfortunately, Disney has still not released an opening date for this parade. This week Disney announced opening dates for two Disney Hollywood Studios shows, but simply confirmed that Disney Starlight Parade will open this summer.
