As Walt Disney once said, “We keep moving forward,” and that is very true at Walt Disney World. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom soon, DinoLand USA will become extinct to make way for a new experience with Tropical Americas, offering a brand new Indy attraction, a new carousel, and an Encanto attraction.

Magic Kingdom prepares for a HUGE expansion extending the boundaries of Magic Kingdom for Villains Land and closing the Rivers of America for the brand new Cars experience.

Check out the latest development on this big expansion HERE.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios underwent many changes this summer with 2 brand new shows: “Disney Villains Unfairly Ever After” and “The Little Mermaid—A Musical Adventure”. Early Entry has also changed a bit at Disney’s Hollywood Studios due to “Cool Kid Summer” activities.

Disney was quick to update Disney’s Hollywood Studios park maps. Today, Guests can no longer view the area of Muppet Courtyard where Muppet Vision 3D, PizzeRizzo, and the Stage 1 Company Store. These were featured yesterday on the My Disney Experience App. They are now covered by greenery on the map.

Not only is Muppet Courtyard removed from the My Disney Experience map, but this location is now blocked by planters. There is one final farewell event for Cast Members this week, but then work will begin for the new Monsters Inc. Land.

Although we are sad to see Muppet Courtyard closing, Disney promised “To make way for the monsters, Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and more of their friends will be moving right along to Sunset Boulevard!” That’s right the Muppets are taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.

Yesterday, Disney shared a closing timeline for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and an opening timeline for the first ever Muppet ride.
